These Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars- they’re super easy to throw together and require no baking in the oven. Perfect for the summer!
INGREDIENT:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
How to Make Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove the crust from the oven and immediately pour the caramel sauce over the hot crust.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chunks and chopped nuts (if using) evenly over the caramel layer.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the caramel is bubbly and the chocolate is melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Let them melt slightly and spread with a spatula if desired.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.
