Ingredients
- 8 oz. Linguine pasta
- 1 lb. Shrimp , peeled, deveined with the tails on or off
- 1 Tbsp. Olive oil
- 4 tsp. Minced garlic
- ¼ C. White cooking wine
- ½ tsp. Oregano
- ½ C. Chicken broth
- ¼ C. Parsley, Chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Basil , Fresh, chopped
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- ½ Onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make Shrimp Scampi with Spaghetti
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste, and add to a skillet over medium-high heat along with the olive oil and 2 Tbsp. of butter. Saute until the shrimp is done.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and add in the remaining butter and the onion. Saute until softened.
- Mix in the garlic and saute for another 30 seconds.
- Stir in the white cooking wine, and cook until the liquid is reduced by half.
- Mix in the chicken broth, parsley, oregano, and basil.
- Add the shrimp back to the skillet and toss to coat well in the sauce before serving.
