Pecan Pie Bark is a great dish to serve at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, or any other special occasion. It’s called bark because it’s supposed to be rough and uneven like the bark on a tree. Pecan pie bark is a delicious combination of sugar, graham crackers, pecans, butter, vanilla, and salt.
Ingredients
- 1 C. Brown sugar
- 13 Graham crackers
- 2 C. Pecan halves chopped
- 1 C. Butter
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- ¼ tsp. Salt
How to Make Pecan Pie Bark
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with tin foil, and grease the foil well.
- Spread the graham crackers out in a single layer on the foil lined baking sheet.
- Place the butter, brown sugar, salt and pecans into a pot on the stove over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the vanilla, and pour the mixture over the graham crackers quickly.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool to room temperature before breaking into pieces to serve.
