Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds 700g baby potatoes, halved or quartered if large
  • 1 pound 450g smoked sausage (such as kielbasa), sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

How To Make Crockpot Sausage & Potatoes

  1. Prepare Ingredients
  2. Wash and halve the baby potatoes.
  3. Slice the smoked sausage, chop the onion, garlic, and bell peppers.
  4. Season
  5. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Mix until evenly coated.
  7. Layer in Crockpot
  8. Place the potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  9. Add the onions, garlic, and bell peppers.
  10. Top with sliced sausage.
  11. Pour chicken broth over the ingredients.
  12. Cook
  13. Low setting: 4 hours
  14. High setting: 2 hours
  15. Stir halfway through cooking for even flavor.
  16. Finish & Serve
  17. Check potatoes for tenderness; they should be fork-tender.
  18. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  19. Serve warm directly from the crockpot.
