Baked Shrimp with Lemon – this dish couldn’t be easier, and you’ll be dreaming about this sauce! Perfectly soft baked prawns are encased in a rich sauce that’s ideal for sopping up with fresh crusty bread. Plus, the short bake time is unbeatable!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 lb. melted butter (or 1 stick)
- 1 packet good seasoning Italian dressing mix.
- Juice of one lemon
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2-1 tsp. of creole seasoning or old bay
- 1 large lemon, quartered and sliced
- 2 lbs. of 16/20 count Gulf Shrimp, peeled, deveined and butterflied to the tail (leave tails on)
How To Make Baked Shrimp with Lemon:
Combine first five ingredients into a 2-quart bowl and whisk well for a few seconds
add the peeled shrimp and mix together gently and coating thoroughly
top the cookie tray with heavy duty aluminum foil
layer the top of the foil evenly with lemon slices
add the shrimp on top of the lemon slices until the entire tray is filled and drizzle with leftover juice.
place tray midway in a preheated 350-degree oven and cook for 12 -15 min.
