- 1.5 pounds 700g baby potatoes, halved or quartered if large
- 1 pound 450g smoked sausage (such as kielbasa), sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 1 medium onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
How To Make Crockpot Sausage & Potatoes
- Prepare Ingredients
- Wash and halve the baby potatoes.
- Slice the smoked sausage, chop the onion, garlic, and bell peppers.
- Season
- In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Mix until evenly coated.
- Layer in Crockpot
- Place the potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the onions, garlic, and bell peppers.
- Top with sliced sausage.
- Pour chicken broth over the ingredients.
- Cook
- Low setting: 4 hours
- High setting: 2 hours
- Stir halfway through cooking for even flavor.
- Finish & Serve
- Check potatoes for tenderness; they should be fork-tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve warm directly from the crockpot.
