These Kilted Sausage Bites have become my go-to party appetizer ever since I first made them for an impromptu game night. The way the flaky pastry wraps around those juicy smoky sausages creating perfect little bites of heaven – it’s pure magic. What started as a quick experiment has become my most requested recipe for any gathering.
ð Kilted Sausage Bites
ð Ingredients:
- 2 packages (8 oz each)Â crescent roll dough sheets.
- 2 packages (12 oz each)Â kielbasa or smoked sausages.
- 1 cup shredded cheese.
- 4 ounces cream cheese.
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds.
- 1/3 cup butter, melted.
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.

- Heat oven to 400°F and grease a large baking sheet.
- Unroll dough and pinch seams together to form sheets.
- Add shredded cheese to one sheet, roll with sausage and seal.
- Spread cream cheese on half of second sheet, roll with sausage.
- Cut rolls into 3/4-inch rounds and arrange on baking sheet.
- Mix butter, mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Brush rolls with glaze, sprinkle with poppy seeds, bake 15-18 minutes until golden.
