This is my original slow cooker crack chicken! Delicious and addictive as it sounds. I created this slow cooker recipe with busy families in mind, and it took the internet by storm!

Ingredients
- 2 lbs 900g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz 225g cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup 120ml chicken broth
- 1 packet 1 oz / 28g ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup 100g shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup 75g cooked and crumbled bacon
- 2 –3 green onions sliced (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Slow Cooker Crack Chicken
- Prepare the Slow Cooker
- Lightly grease the slow cooker with non-stick spray or a small amount of butter.
- Layer the Ingredients
- Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
- Place cream cheese blocks on top of the chicken.
- Cook the Chicken
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Shred & Mix
- Remove chicken and shred it using two forks.
- Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix with the melted cream cheese and juices.
- Add Cheese & Bacon
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Let it melt for 5–10 minutes in the slow cooker.
- Serve & Garnish
- Spoon onto rice, bread, or serve as-is.
- Sprinkle with sliced green onions for freshness.
