Preheat the Oven
Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
Cook the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked.
Break it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
Drain excess grease if needed.
Add Cream Cheese
Reduce heat to low.
Add cubed cream cheese to the skillet.
Stir until melted and fully combined with the sausage.
Assemble
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
Spread evenly.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
Bake
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
Rest & Serve
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving to thicken slightly.
