Ingredients

  • 1 32 oz jar Welch's Grape Jelly
  • 2 12 oz bottles Heinz Tomato Chili Sauce
  • 1 3 to 5 lb bag frozen cocktail meatballs (homestyle or Italian)

Instructions

  • Prep: Spray the insert of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
  • Mix Sauce: Add the grape jelly and both bottles of tomato chili sauce directly into the slow cooker. Whisk together until mostly smooth (the jelly will melt as it heats, so a few lumps are fine).
  • Add Meatballs: Pour the frozen meatballs into the sauce. Stir thoroughly to ensure every meatball is well coated.
  • Cook: Cover with the lid and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, or on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally if possible.
  • Serve: Once the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbling and thick, switch the slow cooker to the "Warm" setting. Serve immediately with toothpicks.

Notes

  • Spice it up: Add 1 tsp of red pepper flakes to the sauce for an extra kick.
  • Make it a meal: Serve leftover meatballs over white rice or inside a toasted sub roll with melted cheese!
