The ultimate party appetizer! These effortless, incredibly flavorful sweet and spicy meatballs require only 5 minutes of prep and three simple ingredients. Perfect for game days, holidays, and potlucks.
13 to 5 lb bag frozen cocktail meatballs (homestyle or Italian)
Instructions
Prep: Spray the insert of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
Mix Sauce: Add the grape jelly and both bottles of tomato chili sauce directly into the slow cooker. Whisk together until mostly smooth (the jelly will melt as it heats, so a few lumps are fine).
Add Meatballs: Pour the frozen meatballs into the sauce. Stir thoroughly to ensure every meatball is well coated.
Cook: Cover with the lid and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, or on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally if possible.
Serve: Once the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbling and thick, switch the slow cooker to the "Warm" setting. Serve immediately with toothpicks.
Notes
Spice it up: Add 1 tsp of red pepper flakes to the sauce for an extra kick.
Make it a meal: Serve leftover meatballs over white rice or inside a toasted sub roll with melted cheese!
